“On December 10-11 2024 EFAD members joined Brussels for 2 days of transformative discussions and forward thinking initiatives.
Engaging with the European Parliament Members:
In a time of shifting policies and global pressures, EFAD Board members actively advocated for policies that protect European audiovisual creation, cultural and linguistic diversity, working hand in hand with MEPs to safeguard our shared heritage.
They met for intense Board meeting to discuss priorities for 2025 and how to reinforce the association.
GENERAL ASSEMBLY MEETING:
With over 40 delegates from 25 member organisations, the plenary sessions addressed critical issues shaping the sector, from AI applications in film agencies to safeguarding cultural diversity. Breakout sessions like inspired bold ideas for the decade ahead on a large variety of topics. The unveiling of EFAD’s new website and visual identity marked a step forward in engaging audiences and celebrating the films supported by our members.
THE 2024 EUROPEAN WEBINAR ON GENDER EQUALITY:
The webinar, which focused on the vital issue of gender equality, highlighted key statistics and strategies to amplify women’s voices on and off screen. It featured insights from industry leaders, researchers, and MEP Emma Rafowicz.”
