Ružín

The Ružín reservoir was built by damming the Hornád river in the deep valley of the Bujanovské vrchy mountains and is one of the most beautiful water areas in Slovakia. It turns the hills of the Čierna hora mountains and consists of two reservoirs. The dam is narrow and long, the dam lake is deep up to 60 m and its area is 390 hectares. The water is used to generate electricity.
