Association of Independent Radio and Television Stations of Slovakia (ANRTS)
Profile:
The Association of Independent Radio Stations of Slovakia (“Association”) was established on 15 December 1992 in Bratislava by seven holders of the first radio broadcasting licenses granted by the Slovak Government Commission in May of the same year. The founding members of the Association were: FUN Radio, Radio TWIST, Radio RAGTIME, RMC Radio, Klassic Radio, Radio D.C.A. and Radio TATRY.
In 1997, the Association expanded its scope to include terrestrial television broadcasting and became the Association of Independent Radio and Television Stations of Slovakia (“ANRTS”), a foreign-language modification of the name: Slovak Independent Broadcasters Association (“SIBA”).
ANRTS is an interest association of legal entities, it is an organization with voluntary membership and the principle of selectivity.
