Profile:

sentimentalfilm was founded in 2004 by Marek Urban and Ivan Ostrochovsky. Fresh graduates from filmschool in Bratislava. They intention was to continue their successful co-operation from student’s time, in order to develop their own projects as well as to settle a platform for young and outstanding authors. One of the first projects was “Matchmaking mayor”  (“Tagesspiegel Readers Prize” at Berlinale 2011 ), and  “Ilja”  both awarded  domestically and abroad.
