Orava Castle

Orava Castle belongs to the most important monuments of castle architecture in Slovakia. Built on a rock above the river Orava in Oravský Podzámok like an “eagle's nest”, it is one of the greatest tourist attractions of Slovakia. Both the exterior and the interior of the castle carry the elements of Romanesque, Gothic, Renaissance, Baroque and even contemporary architecture. We could call it "a Vampire friendly castle" since several films about vampires have already been shot there.
