The Iron Curtain is a term describing the political border dividing Europe into two separate areas from the end of World War II in 1945 until the end of the Cold War in 1991.
Next to the cemetery from World War I, KopĨany is a 10 metre long, 2 metre wide and 3 metre high model iron curtain representing the border zone, which was built according to period photographs. Eleven wires between individual wooden posts and a guard shack used by the border guards. On the barbed wires there are warning signs with inscriptions.
